oops, I rtried to add <body bgcolor="#5DB517"> to the body tag in that file and all hell broke lose. I changed it back but all I get is...
"Fatal error: This encoded file is corrupted. Please refer to http://www.zend.com/support/support_faq.php?id=loader_file_corrupt for further help in /home/hardh/public_html/so/sogalsubmit.php on line 0"
How do I fix this?
And can I use a bgcolor?

hey there,
thanks for the nice words 
well, you shouldn't touch any of the .php files from the script. All pages are encrypted and you can't change anything inside. To fix your problem replace the "sogalsubmit.php" file from the original package..

the body tag doesn't look encrypted (as far as I can tell)

it cant be changed?
Sry for being such a newb, I know 0 about anything and usually fiddle with it till it works or breaks

no thats not the real page code, that refers to a code you will see if your server does not have zend optimizer installed..
