Was just wondering how the custom link formats were set up.
Would it be possible on the thumbnail images to do something similiar to:
%%THUMB%%</a><br /><a href="%%URL%%">%%ALT%%
Just a thought of a way to get a text descriptions added to the thumb galleries.
Thanks for hte great script |

Okay I got it working the format I used was
<a href="%%URL%%"><img src="%%THUMB%%" /></a><br /><a href="%%URL%%">%%ALT%%</a>
It needs some tweaking with for the appearances but it will let you add a test description to your thumb galleries if you don't mind a little extra work. |

Would someone (Kaktusan) be willing to share an live page example of this function. I am still trying to figure out how it works with the template content section.
Kind Regards,
Les |

what you exactlly mean?
for example if you place this :
<a href="%%URL%%"><img src="%%THUMB%%" /></a>
in your thumb custom link format in your template, the thumbnail galleries links will be displayed in this format..
let me know.. _________________

I wish I exactly knew what I mean
If I understand correctly the Thumb Gallery Link Format: section allows you to custom the thumb value used in the Template Content section ?
Thus the thumb parameter in a line like this
%%galleries,thumb,90x120,1-50,5x10,allniches%%
located in the template content section would have the thumb present in the format defined in the Thumb Gallery Link Format: section ?
Sorry for being a little slow on this. I should/will just make a test page and hack at it. I was just trying to understand a little more before doing so.

yep, the custom links fields you see, just let you make the output of the content on your site more customized to your needs. _________________

All right then. I will attempt more dynamic web pages using this.
Thanks,
