I don't know if i had to post this into this forum or BO forum so here it is.
I got a category which is not updated anymore (last update june 10th) even tho GS gets updated (june 20th)
Looks like it simply stopped. Others are working fine. |

Hummmm i got a couple of blogs on other categories too that don't get updated.
Out of the 5 blogs under one category, one doesn't get updated. It uses the same GS feed as others. |

ok, so the feeds from GS are fine and updating, just the BO blogs stopped, right?
Well, it might be because those blog have the entries already that the feed has, or check your system messages if the rss feeder is running regularly..

okay, decided to post here to make once again a note to all users.
Make sure your imported galleries have atleast the short description. GS uses that as title for your posts! When they are blank the blog scripts won't include those entries as posts to your blogs.
The same problem is for you, for that new blog you pasted me on icq, the assigned GS rss feed, does not have titles for the entries, so that BO won't include the posts. I tried with another rss feed from your list, and it works as you see. So just go and make sure your galleries in GS have short description at least.

Hello,
I seem to have this problem with one BO blog, fed by a GS feed.
The BO blog has stopped updating - the feed itself is still updating, and now has 15 items, but the blog stuck on 9 galleries about a week ago and will only update by blogging manually.
The feed galleries all have short descriptions. I set the BO blog to crawl the feed every 60 minutes, and just came back to it after 3 days, and it still hasn't updated...
Seems strange. |

have you checked if other BO blogs that update from other feeds work fine, and have you checked if your cronjobs run fine at all? I suspect the problem is in BO when the GS feed updates fine and all looks fine there.

I think I may have figured it out, as I tried updating the feed again and this time the blog updated.
The descriptions for some of the galleries in the feed are exactly the same - would this mean the blog sees them as the same gallery (even though different content etc) and so doesn't use them?

oh yes, when having duplicate titles, script considers that as duplicate post and skips it.. that should be the problem in your case when you have dups..
