Hello, delighted so far with software but stuck on one thing. I have used gallery scraper to make some feeds, and my BO reads them OK - but the feeds don't seem to update with new entries automatically (I have the update interval set at 8 hours). They only do this if in gallery scraper I go into the feeds and manually click the update button.
On the system summary it says; Last Updater Run: 31 December, 1969 at 19:00:00, don't know if that's anything to do with it.
The cronjobs seem to be listed OK on the summary page... And BO itself will update automatically once the feeds are updated... |

Hi there, well until you get the "Last Updater Run: 31 December, 1969 at 19:00:00" start changing, it means there is something wrong with your cronjob for GS. Is it properly setup and running? Check in the active cronjobs list in the bottom of the "Settings" section. _________________

I have these listed:
* * * * * /usr/local/bin/php -q /usr/www/virtual/mobscene/www.milf-bitches.com/bocron.php >> /dev/null
* * * * * /usr/local/bin/php -q /usr/www/virtual/mobscene/www.milf-bitches.com/borposter.php >> /dev/null
* * * * * /usr/local/bin/php -q /usr/www/virtual/mobscene/www.milf-bitches.com/borssfeeder.php >> /dev/null
0 0 * * * /usr/local/bin/php -q /usr/www/virtual/mobscene/www.milf-bitches.com/bolinkchecker.php >> /dev/null
0 * * * * /usr/local/bin/php -q /usr/www/virtual/mobscene/www.milf-bitches.com/scraper/gscron.php >> /dev/null
Not sure if they are listed right though? Like I say, the cronjobs seem to be running Ok for the BO but not the scraper - appreciate your help. |

And the GS cronjobs looks fine, and it should be working as its same syntax as the BO ones, and if they work, so this one should work too.
Okay, i run manually the updater for GS, and it completed pretty quickly, did it changed the last updater time in the summary page?
Might be good to pm me url and pass to your GS admin.. _________________

Hummmmm i'm getting the same problem.
I just checked with my host and indeed the cronjob for GS is setup
(but events are not showing up in settings but they told me it's working)
Last Updater Run is today and i see the entries in GS, they just don't show up in BO ?
Bo is updating arlight with sponsor rss feeds by the way.
I have icq'ed you with username/pass if you want to check it out.
Let me know
Thanks |

hi there, i just looked at your GS, and yes, the cronjob is working fine and from the last updated time in the feeds list, i see and they are updating fine. Note that in GS there is no events screen, so you might be mistaking..
I looked and at your BO and there everything looks fine.
You sure your blogs are really not getting updated? _________________
