Okay so I downloaded the zip file and uploaded the contents of the "so folder" in binary mode.
Apart from the files there is a folder called "templates"
On running the installation programme I receive the error messages:
Templates directory does not exists (it does)
Thumbs directory does not exist
Directory "sohtml" does not exist
There are no instructions regarding creating these files. |

hey there, thanks for being interested in my script.
Well in the SO package you should have the "sohtml" folder, thats why there is no instructions about creating it. the "sohtml" folder is the Templates folder. So you don't have the sohtml and thumbs dir inside the .zip ?
If so just create these two directories inside the directory you uploaded the script and chmod them to 777 and proceede with install..
if problems again let me know. |

A postscript to the above problem.
Create the missing folders in the main directory. Two folders named
"sohtml" and "thumbs"
If your main folder is "so" it will look like this:
www.yourwebsite.com/so/sohtml
www.yourwebsite.com/so/thumbs
www.yourwebsite.com/so/template
In order for this to work you have to change the permissions (CHMOD) to 777 as in the instructions.
Okay, this might sound very basic but sometimes it's difficult to think properly especially after a hard day. |

Thanks for thed detailed info bro!
This problem occurs only to a few people, who don't see some of the script directories in the script package, because of the archivator programs..so you must create them by yourself.. |
