Hello. I asked a similar question once before; however some new info has come to light, so bear with me.
I use both SO and GS for similar but slightly different applications. Lately more and more porn vendors have been moving to Flash galleries and abandoning other formats like WMV. This presents a big problem for getting newer releases into GS.
I was playing around with SO this morning trying to figure out a way to make use of Flash galleries. Come to find out if you use the 'Add & Thumbnail' feature, SO seems to be able thumbnail a Flash gallery, even if the image of interest appears in the flash player itself!
My question is this: If SO can do this, why can't GS? |

| Never mind; I found a way to do this with manual feeds. Now if there were just a way to mix a regular feed with a manual feed I'd be in business. |

SO works the same as regular feeds in GS.
Manual feeds in GS work in other way.
The thumbnailing difference between the manual and auto feeds is this - manual cropping grabs all images found in the gallery html, while the auto grabs only those linked to a picture or movie. The problem is that when the auto works as the manual the script may grab a banner or other picture, thats not gallery content. Thats why it is made to skip those to avoid incorrect posts..
