Hi Kaktusan
How do I use the public name on a template. I'm assuming that the Public Name for a niche can be used in a listing of say Text galleries where you want to indicate the niche they belong to... But, how do I get it to display?
The standard markup for niche, %%NICHE%% just displays the basic niche name such as brit-porn rather than the public name "British Porn"
I'm building a site with sample galleries from a number of sites and wish to call up the Public Name as the site name above a table if possible... it'll make it quicker for me to add pages to the site then as I can just clone templates and change the niche over for each one.

once, you fill the public name for a niche, and regenerate the template it should print the public name instead of the internal niche name

Hi
I just tried changing the public name for the test thumb I have on here http://rudeukamateurs.com/
and it doesn't seem to save it, every time I enter it in the public names screen it says Updated successfully! but the box for the new public name I entered stays blank... and the site still displays the niche in the basic format, i.e. british-porn-pass
Niche is british-porn-pass
Public name should be British Porn Pass
Template I'm using is rude-uk-amateurs

i remember now someone had same issue in the past and i think made some fixing, but not sure if released a patch. pm me ftp to your SO install as well..
