| I'm having trouble with the installation. First I spoke with my host and they told me that I should switch to a linux server in order to install this. I was on a windows server. After uploading all the files in binary mode I am getting a fatal error message that says corrupted encoded data detected and then it gives a directory. Please comment on what I may be doing wrong so that I can get this installed. |

hi there, when it says something like corrupted encoded data detected, then it means you haven't uploaded all files properly in BINARY mode. Reupload all files again and make sure they really get uploaded in binary mode.
Let me know if more problems..

Hi,
I have uploaded my files again in binary mode but am getting a message that says fatal error: Call to undefined funtion check license. I have copied and pasted my license info in the my license.php file but am still getting the same message. |

| OOPS! I didn't launch the my-install.php file first. I know in the read me text it says to launch that file from your web browser but how could I do that from my browser. All that is in my browser when I navigate to the page where this should be is the fatal error message. Could I launch it some other way like from my ftp client. |

you should launch it from your browser like:
http://www.mydomain.com/my2257/my-install.php
is you get the fatal error message, then it is not uploaded in binary mode.
if you want you can pm me url and ftp details and i will install the script for you, to save you all these troubles you are experiencing..
