Hi!

I have a problem making pictures. For example if I set:

{PIC_300x200}

And the images on actual gallery are smaller than that, then my image will be small too, not 300x200

Example WARNING ADULT! Smile

http://www.porngallerylist.com/movie/smw/99/?t1
this is the gallery and the Thumb created from that gallery is 165x165 even I stated {PIC_300x200}. I tried to put various parameters in the SETTINGS/Image Magic Command Line but without success...

Obviously, Image Magick doesn't do any resize if the image is smaller, only if it's bigger...

Any Ideas?

Thanx

EDIT:
Well, I found something. It's about Height of the images. If I put, for example, {PIC_500x200} it'll work only if the thumbs on the gallery have greater height then 200. But if the thumb on the gallery have smaller height than in {PIC_500x200} it will not work...

well, yes, i made the resizing in that way, so if any of the dimensions of the original image are lower than the requested size, GS does not resize the image, otherwise probably a pretty bad and distorted thumbnail can be generated.

Ok. But I often see blogs with very very bad Thumbs for movies (like almost any YouTube Video) but that doesn't prevent surfers clicking there Smile The story is what tells them to click.

The reason I wanted big thumbs is just to make them obvious it's movie thumbs. Anyway, some more control of the Image Magick would be nice, like inserting text over thumb, or image with alpha chanel over thumb, or some fancy border around... Something like that...

Thank anyway Smile
Take care

yeah, its like that, but it will be more of a big problem, if the pics start looking bad.

yes, i am considering expanding the image magick and lots more stuff in GS. It is in its first version yet, so there is lots more to come Smile
