I used GS to create this feed, www. jstarworld .c o m/gs/feeds/feed1.xml
However when I use this in BO, it doesnt pick it up, yet other sponsor feeds are picked up and posted without a problem. |

well, i see 2 problems with that feed.
First, there is no short description imported for those galleries, and script has nothing to put in the title tag for the entries and thats why BO doesn't pick at all the entries from the feed.
Second, i see the image variables not being replaced with images, so probably GS for some reason can't create thumbnails from those types of galleries _________________

So are you saying that any feed with galleries that have no short description won't work? |

yes, the short description is mandatory since it is used for title of the post. Just use the short description of the galleries provided by the sponsors. it does great job for title of the posts. _________________

well, its always best when you want to import new galleries, import couple of them, create a test feed and see if all is fine. It would be perfect world if all galleries were identical types and there was no problem making thumbs from them.
as about the feed you just pasted it works fine. If you try to preview it in browser, take in mind if you don't have set link for it in the settings, in Firefox you won't see the entries. _________________

When you are at the Add/Edit feed screen. On the first fields where it says "title" and "Link" if you don't fill anything Firefox displays the rough feed source. Your feed is 100% working and can be imported to blogs, just FF treats it that way.. In "Link" regularly i fill an url of some of my sites.. _________________
