Some questions about the new, 2.5, version.
1)
"Public Niche Names
You are able to specify a public name for each of your internal script niches, so that when you want to display the niche on your actual pages, the public name is used."
I don't understand where or how to use this.
2)
Up to version 2.1 we added this near the top of each page,
" <img src="http://www.kickasslinks.com/so/soin.php?referer=<? echo rawurlencode($HTTP_REFERER)?>" border=0 width=0 height=0> "
Now, when I generate a template, called "mysites" for example, I'm given this to include near the top of the calling page,
" <img src="http://www.kickasslinks.com/so/soin.php?referer=<? echo rawurlencode($HTTP_REFERER)?>&template=mysites" border=0 width=0 height=0> "
The line now includes the Template name ( "mysites" ), problably for "Templates Productivity Tracking " or such.
Does this mean I now must include such a line for each and every template that my page is going to call, instead of just the one "generic" line as before?
Thanks,

Hi there,
about the Public Niche Names, the deal is that if you use the custom output fields in the template settings, you can output the niche name next to the gallery by using the %%niche%%. Now with the 2.5 version, in the Public Niche Names you can define for each your regular niche what text exactly to be output on your templates for the %%niche%%. For example if you have added a niche "amateur" to the system, but you would like on your page it to be displayed like "Amateurs" just go and put that a public niche name for the amateur niche. Hope you understand what i mean.
As about the new linking code, yes the template name is added for the productivity tracking. If you want to track productivity for your templates, you can go and change the linking code to your current templates, but you can leave as is, and script won't track productivity. For new templates, just use the new linking code, and you will have the productivity tracked.. _________________
