I am hand submitting my own galleries as well as accepting gallery submissions from a few friends... problem 1 I have is that the submitted thumbs show in the admin but arent showing on the sites. I thought maybe it was a hotlinking issue but have asked my host and they say no hotlinking issue. Any idea what else I can check?
Problem 2 is that the sites are not updating automatically. I have to run the update myself. My host has put the cron in place and said it was running, but in the SO admin it will show the last update date as when I ran it manually. Ideas?

Hi there,
well it makes no sense if there is no hotlink protection on the domain where your SO install is, so that your thumbs won't show up on other sites..When you look at the sites sources, is all fine in there. You might wanna pm me url and pass to your SO admin so i can take a look if anything is problemable in the script, but i doubt its from that.
About the cron updating, do you have the templates set to regenerate daily in the settings, or no?

I have upgraded to the latest version and rethumbed the broken images. I then regenerated the sites and still some of the thumbs are broken.. I checked again, I didnt miss any. Ideas?

As I mentioned in my previous post, I rethumbed the broken images and regenerated the sites ... and still some of the thumbs are broken.
Anyway, my problem now is that when I submit a gallery and select my thumbnail to upload, it doesnt take my thumb, the system crops its own. This is a new problem since the upgrade so I believe there is a bug. |

Yes that is correct. I supply thumb but script ignores it and creates its own. |

Followed your PM instructions and you have done it. The broken thumbs are no longer broken.
So only issue left now is the script ignore the submitted thumbs. |

okay, there was really bug in the script and i have fixed it. Please download the upgrader package from the owners lounge, unzip and upload only file "sogalsubmit.php" and nothing else. Don't forget the BINARY mode.
Let me know on any more problems..
