If you have an exceptional, handwritten blog I will take a look at it to list at http://stickytissuesporn.com in exchange for a backlink from another good handwritten blog on another freehost or your own subdomain or hosting.
I am not interested in listing a bunch of rss-fed blogs and recycled shit, so if that's what you have I mean no offense but I am not interested. |

Reciprocal links are the only links worth trading. ABC links are not worth anymore. That is a myth. It's been discussed on MP and other boards.

LMAO- other things that have been discussed at INCREDIBLE length at MP and every other forum include reaching a point where you (you in a general sense, not you in a mikesinner sense) decide to pony up for your own hosting and start calling your own shots instead of relying on Twan and other freehosts for your biz....
I own the directory, I make the rules. Same as twan and the rest of them. I am not interested in an a-b recip directory. When you (you in a general sense, not you in a mikesinner sense) buy your own domain and hosting, spend your own time fucking around with the script and set up your own directory then you can make your own rules.....
Honestly, I am not terribly interested in freehost backlinks because I can establish my own. But if you have DECENT blogs on freehosts and want to submit them, I will consider it. I was simply offering an answer to your post.
Mike- I don't want you to take all this as a personal attack- I have said publicly AND privately I respect your work ethic. You manage to scrape out beer money using free hosting and other people's traffic- good on ya.
My offer stands- if you (you in a general sense, not you in a mikesinner sense) have blogs to submit to MY directory according to MY rules (like all directories have rules), I am happy to look at them and will accept them, list them, and NOT drop links so long as the recips are in place.

It's cool man, I just think it should be an option when submitting rather than a requirement.
Directory owners don't have a good rep in this business. Many remove your links for their own reasons. I'd just rather have a simple site to site link that I can hand check when I need to.
The purpose of this thread is to build a list of directories that accept kaktusan's blogs. Since i only do a-b links I need blogs that give that option.
With freehosts you don't need hundreds of directory links anyway since you aren't going to be going after keyword that hit google over 1k a day. That would be foolish. You're going after smaller keywords that you wouldn't waste a domain on.
This is one reason I don't understand why someone like twan would remove links. Most big bloggers seem to hate directories.
It seems to be closer to the realm of free hosting and if you are giving juice to a blog that targets a 10-30 hit keyword why would you want to lose that targeted SE traffic?
I think to many free hosts and directory owners expect to much traffic for what they are doing. Directories are a dime a dozen. To me they are for listing you blog for SE, not for large amounts of traffic. |
