Hi,
Just setting up Gallery Scraper on a new server after you transfered licence for me
When I create a feed it's not displaying any thumbnails. Things I noticed when trying to create a feed are:
- On 'create feed' page, after I've filled out all the fields and press ADD button, my browser goes to a blank page (with Done in bottom bar)
- I then hit BACK button
- go to Feeds Search and the new feed is created but with status BUILDING
- it stays like that until I REBUILD it
- it then seems NORMAL but when I go to VIEW the feed, theres no thumbnails showing in the feed items
I also noticed another thing which may be related:
When I try to import galleries and select [] spider galleries for text the gallery doesn't import at all.
I also tried to create a manual gallery but when I'm asked to select thumbnails and select the thumbnail holder, the browser goes to a blank page.
Any thoughts on what to do?
THanks,
Hugey |

Just to add to what I've already said. I've just checked the thumbs folder on my server and although there's subfolders - feed1, feed2, mfeed1, etc - there's no image files in these folders.
Thanks,

Decided to do a fresh reinstall and got the following error at the INITIAL CHECKS stage:
Initial Checks:
PHP Version: 5.2.5 OK
PHP Safe Mode: OK
MySQL Support: OK
CURL Library Support: PHP Does not support CURL Library!
"info.inc.php" File: OK
"gscronjobs" File: OK
"feed_templates" Directory: OK
"feeds" Directory: OK
"thumbs" Directory: OK
"temp" Directory: OK
I must have missed this first time around, in my eagerness to get it up and running.
I'll check this out with my webhost in the meantime but look forward to any advise on what to do next.
Thanks,
Hugey |

Ok, just been onto my webhost who've now installed CURL support module and it appears to have solved the issues I raised in this thread.
Thanks,

yep, the absence of CURL library was the problem. Glad your resolved it. _________________
