Hi,
I have had no trouble up until now with Gallery Scraper, but all of a sudden on some of my feeds the pictures stopped re-sizing.
This issue happened after I had installed a new blog on the same hosting account as GS and updated it with feedwordpress - no GS feeds used.
Whatever went wrong with the script appeared to throw GS out as well because it was after that the GS feed pictures stopped re-sizing.
I have been into GS admin and deleted the over large pictures and rebuilt all the feeds. Having updated and checked the feeds they all appear fine right now (correct size pictures), but as I have them set up to update between 1 and 3 days - depending on feed - I will not know if this problem is going to re-occur until the feeds update again.
Is there anything more I need to do to make sure? In other words, has something messed up? And if so, how should I fix it?
Thanks |

weird.. yes, another script can cause problems to GS, but i don't see what it could cause exactly to make the pictures not resizing..
well, when you manually updated the feed and all seems fine, it should be fine. I don't see any specific reason when the cronjobs run not to make proper thumbs.
Actually you can make a new temp feed and make it update every hour, so wait an hour and see if the new entry will be fine. If its fine, all rest should be fine.. _________________

Thanks kaktus,
I'll go and make that temporary feed right now.
Seems like a good solution. At least I should know them |
