Hello. I am suddenly having problems accessing my Gallery Scraper software. When I go to http://gal.hightesthosting.com I receive the following messages:

Forbidden
You don't have permission to access /index.php on this server.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

I'm not sure, but I suspect this may have something to do with my .htaccess file. Here it is:

I've already changed the permissions on index.php and the other .php files to 755. Not sure why they were 644 in the first place.

yes, it looks like the directory is made accessible only with valid restrictions..
try fixing or removing your htaccess

What a mess! I figured all the Frontpage garbage in htaccess was causing the problem, but no. The problem seems to have started when I made changes to allow SSI. This was the offending line:
Options +IncludesNoExec -ExecCGI
I'm not sure what that does, but someone said it was necessary for SSIs to work. But I removed this line and they still work and, now, so does GalleryScraper.
Just an FYI in case anyone else falls into this trap. |

i see, yeah not used properly htaccess can cause lots of troubles. glad you resolved the issue
