I have installed the free version of the script ( with 3 % skimming ) untill I learn how to use it , so far I think it's fantastic, but I have some problems. Wherever I paste the code for my thumb gallery on my test page, the table is always at the very top of the page ,how do I postion it down the page to keep my header at the top ? Regards FTW.
P.S sorry if this is me being stupid, I,m quite a newbie. |

hi there, there are no stupid questions
well, just move the linking code line that contains the include "http://....."
to lower place in your html, so it gets output where you need it exactly. _________________

um, you have something wrong in your html/css, when the output is shown your header goes over it and goes in middle of the page.. _________________

Yes I can move my header up, see http://www.freeporn-movieclips.com/test.php
but not the table any where, shall I just live with it and black out the first few thumbs or open it in a iframe so I can position it where I want? Thanks for your time. |

well, you can position it anywhere you want, you will need just to play kinda more till you learn how to do it. just looks that SO outputs whole table, and you need to prepare your html design in a way so that where you want to put the table it won't break the design. yes, with iframe would work too. _________________

you can alter anything with css. just do a view source and see with what css clases the script outputs the content and just define it in your css stylesheet and put the custom settings you need _________________

Hi I am starting to get on with this script and really enjoying what it can do, I can't change the colour of the borders in the designer I use, but I can live with that. What I would like to know is how I make the descriptions to be used as ALT text. You helped someone with:
<a href="%%URL%%"><img src="%%THUMB%%" alt="%%ALT%%"></a>
but when I use it I get all the ALT text but shocking big blue borders on the thumbs even though the template has 0 set for borders.
Regards FTW. |

you can change the colors of the border with css.
as about the Code: | <a href="%%URL%%"><img src="%%THUMB%%" alt="%%ALT%%"></a> |
you need to put that in the custom thumbs output field. also since it is "custom" script uses directly that code and not the other settings the template might have. So in it, you should put border="0" and anything else you need. _________________
