I added a few snippets to my favorite sponsors.
I assumed that when I clicked the snippet, it would add the code that I had entered.
What I had entered was this kind of thing:
Code:
<a target='_new' href='sponsor url.com'><font size='2' face='comic sans ms'><b>Check it out</b></a>

I expected to see that code posted to the page.
If it was like that, then I could change the image, or text, or whatever.
As it is, it throws in a token.
If I want to change the text or image, I have to make up a new snippet every time. This kinda defeats the purpose .
If I was to use target tags, noexit tags, and a bunch of other stuff, I could wind up having 2 million snippets, and no way of keeping track of them.
I would much rather see the actual html or text put into the post.

The way the posts are added in this version of blog organizer totally beats the purpose of this script.

It should be possible to add 100 or so posts at once , and then the script would post them each day.

What I miss is the following:
a) an extra Template for the single Post-Pages, i.e. that i can set the Title of the page to be the same as the Post-Title

b) some help in the text-edit-box, for quicker insert of pics and links

c) All templates as "premade" and in the blog-edit i choose which template will be taken, so that i can switch (if i wish) the template. Good for editing, if have i had made changes, i can go back to the last "good working" template.

Greetings
Vadim

Always possible I might have missed something, but I can't find a way of removing/renaming this in the templates....

class='bopkeyword'

....used to style the technorati tags.

It would be nice if we could rename this style, as it is a bit of a 'giveaway' that we are using the program.

The image call used for stats can be used by the search engines to identify all your sites and act against them.

eg.
<img src="http://www.cheapestadultscripts.com/bo/bo/bo-in.php?blog=1&referer=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.cheapestadultscripts.com%2Fbo%2Fbo%2Findex.php" border=0 width=0 height=0>

I guess it is easy enough to remove from the the index.php file, but it would be nice to have a 'safe mode' switch that turns this off when creating the blog.

well, i am not sure this is penalty against you, since if you use a public counter, then again thousands sites use same code so.. hope you catch me point.. Well, you can easily remove the line from your index page. I will make and a button "safe mode" to be excluded the tracker when downloading the file..

Thanks!

The problem occurs if Google or one of the SEs spot that one of your blogs is, errr, lets say 'problematic' for them. They then look for anything that can identify all blogs owned by the same 'offender'. This is really easy to do if every site you make links back to the same image tracker and no other sites do. They would easily spot that the only sites involved were from the same generator.

As I said, its not biggy for now as it can easily be removed by hand.

'Safe mode' would be a cool option though.

Hi!

Because google seems to see the post pages as doublicated content from the main page and drops them after a while, it would be cool if user comments on the post page would be possible. This would give the post pages individuality Smile

Hi Kaktusan,

please add a button 'Preview Post' for the admin panel. This will be a great help when adding postings for scheduled publishing. Wink
