I am experiencing two issues others have seen as well. Unfortunately, I wasnt able to find an answer elsewhere.
When I create a feed I see that it is "Building". This stays this way indefinitely. I believe my path is correct for the php as its the same for BO and that works just fine.
If I hit rebuild it returns the page showing "Normal"
Then if I ask to "view" I get an empty feed (essentially)

I am using 1 sponsor and one niche here that I can look at in the gallery database and see that its populated.
Based on the other threads, these are the solutions proposed.
Im pretty much at a loss here as to what step to take next.
Any suggestions? |

when the feed state stays in building probably something is not okay in these:
the sponsors and categories you have selected for the feed do not have galleries
the script can't create thumbnails from the galleries, because they could be from some weird type and script can't extract content from them
your php and image magic are not okay.
another problem could be the shell_exec() functions in your php server configuration are disabled and script can't execute the image magic program to create the thumbs..
If you think all these things are fine and still can't get it to work, pm me url and pass to your GS admin and i will take a look. _________________

so if i click through the links in the feed im building, the images do show fine (at least they seem to)
What im trying to build is a text only feed, no images, perhaps I have that set up wrong? |

hm, when it works with images it should work fine without images..it would even work more problemable free just with text.
You sure you have just inserted {GAL_DESCR} or {GAL_LDESCR} in your template body?
If again problems, pm me url and pass and i will take a look what could be wrong.. _________________
