I just installed SO on one domain, changed some basic settings, added a template and a few static galleries and things seemed to work fine.
I then proceeded to install SO on another domain (under another user account on the same server + same IP) and using the same MySQL database and user and added another SO admin password.
When the install had completed, the database was empty and when I went back to the first domain I had installed the script on, the SO admin password had been changed to the new one and templates/galleries etc. were gone.
How do I share one database for all my domains (each is under a different user account on the machine - works best that way with the reseller hosting plan I am on)? |

Okay - installed on three domains now, and they do share the database.
Only problem is if I want to add another domain later - the database is erased .
I guess this can be prevented with a backup, but for now I think I will just install the script on the five or six domains I expect to have up and running over the next month or two. |

Still learning .
Looks like I only need to install the script on one domain and then the code you insert at the top of the page
<img src="http://www.domain.com/so/soin.php?referer=<? echo rawurlencode($HTTP_REFERER)?>" border=0 width=0 height=0>
makes sure you are correctly using the script - even if you are using a template on pages on domain2, domain3 etc., right?
Four days of trying to wrap my head around this and a few trading scripts, and I finally think I am starting to get it. Three months ago I only knew a couple of basic html tags . |

Sorry for the delay, i have been pretty busy these days and also had problems removing some shit spyware that got into my pc...
Why at all you need to install the script at several domains? The base idea of my script is to handle unlimited sites (even on different domains and hosting companies) with just one install. So man no need to install it on all of your domains, just one install is fine. Load the database, make your templates, and just call those templates from wherever you want
