How about a gallery inserter that takes a thumb and a static description and inserts the gallery into all three tables so it can be called from any of them. I am listing all of my galleries as sogalleries, and then listing some of them in thumbs and or static as well.
Being able to list them in all three (or two) at once would be handy and a time saver.
