From here you access and use the Thumbnailer functions of Site Organizer, to create automatically and easily thumbnails for your galleries.
Thumbnailer mechanism is always under improvements, and it can always fail on certain types of galleries, since nowadays there are tons of different schemas and types for creating galleries, and script sometimes fails to find and extract a thumbnail properly!
Configure - From here you configure you thumbnailer settings.
You have the option to choose what to use for the thumbnails creation.
Either the PHP GD Library or the Image Magick package.
For best thumbs, please use Image Magick!
Leech Galleries refers to when you are doing semithumbnailing or manual thumbnailing when the gallery images are shown in a table and you choose from which to thumbnail. Certain galleries will have hotlink protection, which will cause those pages not to work, so enable this setting when you encounter such galleries.
The first Watermarking section refers to the watermarking
support, used to auto write text on the generated thumbnails. If you wish to use this feature,
in the Status field select enabled. Then you must fill in the Pictures Text and Movies Text
fields what text you would like to appear on the thumbs that refer to picture and movie galleries.
In the Text Color field you must specify what color you would like for the text. Enter there the
hexademical value of the color, without the starting # symbol. For example if you wish the text
to be white then enter FFFFFF, if you wish to be black enter 000000 and etc...
Then choose the size of the text from the field Text Size. After that you can choose the location
of the text from the fields Vertical Text Align and Horizontal Text Align. For example if you want the
text to appear in the bottom right corner of the thumbnails choose BOTTOM from Vertical Text Align
and RIGHT for Horizontal Text Align. From the next two fields Vertical Text Margin and Horizontal
Text Margin, you can choose the margin space between the ending of the thumbnail and the text.
Thumbnail New - Since v2.5 has been moved to "Thumb Galleries->Add & Thumbnail" _________________
